Registered
South Dakota voters may begin absentee voting
for the November 4th General Election on September
23, 2008 at county auditors' offices.

Polls open 7am to 7pm
The
deadline for registration for the November General
Election is October 20, 2008. Your information
must be received by the auditor by this deadline
if you are to vote the any election. This is
also the deadline to change your party affiliation
to be recorded on your ballot.

A
new internet service is available that lets
South Dakotans check their voter registration
information and view ballots they will be casting
for South Dakota's June 3 primary election.
The new service, called Voter Information Portal
(VIP), also allows voters the opportunity to
view sample ballots online.
